5 Skills You Can Learn Online For Free

Have you ever had free or easily accessible internet but didn’t know what to do with it? You don’t have to be in such situation again because these days, you can learn just about anything you want online.

Sites like Coursera, Shaw Academy and YouTube have made this very easy.

So I put together a few things you might want to learn can learn online totally free.

A new language: If you’ve ever seen a bi-lingual person and wished you could be like them, then this one is for you. With a website like Duolingo.com, you can learn languages like French, Greek, German, Spanish etc. for free.

Website Design: This one is an absolutely easy skill to learn that people charge a lot of money for. There are different methods you could use. You could either learn it with coding languages like CSS, HTML, PHP etc. or you could use drag and drop software like WordPress, SkillFeed etc. The drag and drop software are the easiest to use and you can learn them in 4 hours or even less. Just hop on YouTube and you’ll find a ton of videos on website building

How to manage your finances: This is a skill I feel every single person should learn. You should check out Mint.com. You can download the app where you will not only learn how to control your finances; you will get all the tools and resources you need for this.

How to play a guitar: If you have ever watched Asa or Aramide perform and you wished you could play just like them, then this one is for. Actually 80% of people I’ve ever met wished they could play the guitar. So this probably is for everyone. Log on to JustinGuitar.com and get all the materials you need to become a professional guitarist.

Video editing: Different software can be used used for video editing. The best being Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects. Those one might be somehow complicated especially for a beginner hobbyist. You can choose to start with Corel Video Studio.

Whichever software you want to use, you can just go on YouTube and search for tutorials on video editing for the software and you are good to go. Maybe you might just be the next Clarence Peters or Kemi Adetiba.
