In a thrilling grand finale held in Lagos on Sunday, Victory Gbakara emerged as the winner of Nigerian Idol Season 8, securing the coveted N100 million grand prize.

The 25-year-old Nigerian lawyer, singer, and songwriter from Delta state displayed remarkable talent throughout the competition.

As the deserving winner, Victory Gbakara was awarded N35 million in cash, along with a brand new SUV. Additionally, he received one year’s supply of Bigi drinks, a week-long getaway holiday to Cape Town, and one year’s supply of WAW detergent, among other exciting prizes.

Victory Gbakara’s musical journey began at the young age of nine when he joined a choir group, nurturing his exceptional singing skills.
