Russian player Daniil Medvedev, ranked third, and Spanish top seed Carlos Alcaraz are set to face off in the semi-finals of the men’s singles at the 2023 Wimbledon tournament.

Both players, having previously secured major titles on the US Open hard courts, will now aim to reach their first Wimbledon finals on the grass court when they meet on Friday.

In the other anticipated semi-final match also scheduled for Friday, Serbian second seed Novak Djokovic, aiming to secure his eighth men’s title and equal a historic record, will take on Italian eighth seed Jannik Sinner.
